Philosykos by Diptyque is a fresh woody fragrance for women and men. Philosykos Eau de Parfum was launched in 2012 and created by perfumer Olivia Giacobetti.

The fragrance is inspired by a summer memory in Greece, crossing a wild grove of fig trees on the way to the sea. It captures the full character of the fig tree, from the green freshness of the leaves to the milky softness of the fruit and the warm density of the wood.

It opens with fig leaves and fig tree sap, creating a green, fresh and slightly milky introduction with natural brightness.

The heart develops around fig tree wood and white cedar, adding dry woody depth, creamy texture and the feeling of bark warmed by the sun.

As it settles, black pepper gives the fragrance a subtle spicy edge, forming a clean woody trail with earthy freshness, soft warmth and elegant Mediterranean simplicity.
