Overture Woman by Amouage is a Woody Amber fragrance for women, launched in 2020 and created by perfumer Annick Ménardo. The fragrance is composed like a grand entrance, expressing confident beauty, glamour and theatrical elegance with a warm resinous structure. It opens with bergamot, saffron and pear, giving the scent a bright, spicy and slightly fruity introduction. The heart develops with benzoin, myrrh, rose, geranium and cinnamon, adding floral warmth, resinous richness and a soft spicy depth. In the base, frankincense, labdanum and leather create the strongest identity of the perfume: smoky, ambered, leathery and powerful, with a luxurious feminine winter character.
