Halfeti Perfume by Penhaligon's is an oriental woody fragrance for women and men, launched in 2015 and created by perfumer Christian Provenzano. The fragrance is inspired by the mysterious Turkish town of Halfeti and its legendary dark rose, creating a rich scent built around oud, rose, warm spices and deep woods. It opens with grapefruit, bergamot, saffron, cardamom, cypress leaf and artemisia, giving the perfume a bright yet spicy beginning. The heart develops with Bulgarian rose, nutmeg and jasmine, adding a floral warmth that supports the darker structure. In the base, oud, leather, cedar, sandalwood, amber, tonka bean, vanilla and musk create the strongest identity of the perfume: woody, spicy, smoky and elegant, with a luxurious unisex winter character.
