Purpose by Amouage is a woody spicy fragrance for women and men. Purpose was launched in 2023 and created by perfumer Quentin Bisch.
This fragrance is built around grounding, inner peace and the symbolic strength of frankincense and mineral woods. It opens with bergamot, pink pepper, frankincense and pimento berry, creating a bright spicy resinous introduction with fresh warmth.
The heart develops with rose, sand vetiver, sandalwood and papyrus, adding dry earthy woods, smooth creaminess and a refined floral depth.
As it settles, the base reveals saffron, suede, Mystikal and Akigalawood, forming a deep woody trail with soft leathery warmth, smoky elegance and long-lasting presence.
